Photofacial in Phoenix

Photofacials have a number of different uses, but are mostly used for treating brown spots, broken capillaries, and boosting collagen. Our Photofacial treatments use intense light pulses to penetrate deep into the skin. This causes the collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness and age lines, but its primary benefit is to reduce age spots, dark spots and sun damage.
The 30-minute procedure is virtually painless, but can cause temporary redness and swelling that disappears quickly
Benefits are typically noticed immediately and will continue to occur gradually in the weeks following treatment. They include dramatic results in removing:

Age Spots

Sun Damage

Spider Veins

Rosacea (enlarged facial blood vessels)

Large Pores

Pigment Imperfections

Any area can be treated, including the face, neck, chest, hands, shoulders and legs. Photofacials are typically performed in a series of 3 to 5 treatments scheduled about 4 weeks apart with little or no down time. After even one treatment, your skin will have a more even tone with a smoother, younger look and feel.

Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance.

During this procedure, the Eclipse MicroPen is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in improvement of the appearance of softer wrinkles.

What Are the Benefits?

The benefits of micro-needling can include a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, younger-looking skin with fewer signs of aging.

MicroPen may also has a positive effect on the appearance of hyper-pigmentation, hypo-pigmentation, acne scars, traumatic scars and stretch marks and generally creates a fresher appearance or glow to the skin.

What Areas of the Body Can Be Treated?

MicroPen can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.

How Is the Procedure Done?

A sterile cartridge containing 12 points is attached to the MicroPen

We will apply a thin layer of topical gel to your skin and select the appropriate pen setting based on your unique needs.

Next, in a single motion, the pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.

What Does It Feel Like?

The feeling associated with the MicroPen is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin.

While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip reduces discomfort while the applied hydrating gel also makes the treatment more tolerable.

How Long Does the Procedure Take?

The procedure takes 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the area treated.

What Is the Downtime?

Immediately after the treatment you will notice a bright redness to the skin.

The total healing time depends on the MicroPen setting used and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, patients are red up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

When Will I See the Results?

Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after a treatment as collagen production continues.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Some patients only require a single treatment once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6-week intervals.

Laser Facial

We use laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat fine lines, wrinkles, acne and excessive redness; it can also help manage large pores, uneven skin texture and scars. Put more simply, it promotes vibrant and healthy looking skin.

The process typically consists of 3 to 5 treatments and often complements the PhotoFacial.

You can expect subtle yet consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. Treatments are performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without topical anesthetics.

How does a Laser Facial work?

It gently heats the upper dermis well below your skin's surface, stimulating collagen production. Additional heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness.

How many treatments will I need?

Results are often subtle but you will notice a tightness to your skin as you leave the office. On average, you may require 3 to 5 treatments for the best results

What are the side effects?

Most patients report few if any, but the most common is a slight pinkness or redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment.

What kind of improvements can I expect?

A Laser Facial can restore the skin's youthful glow and appearance by smoothing uneven texture caused by aging, sun damage or scars. You will see a healthier complexion as large pores are reduced and minor imperfections are diminished. The individual treatment results are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be dramatic.

Acne Reduction

IPL Acne Photofacials are revolutionizing the treatment of acne.  These light-based treatments suppress acne without the possible side effects associated with medications and lotions.  They are proven to be clinically effective and safe. We utilize a blue filter to selectively target the acnes bacteria that are partially responsible for acne in the skin.

What is the treatment like?

A thin layer of gel is applied to your skin, followed by the blue light treatment. Most patients have minimal discomfort. Treatment sessions last 20-30 minutes.

What should I expect after treatment?

After treatment is completed, some may experience temporary reddening and minimal swelling of the acne, and surrounding skin for 1-2 days. This is temporary and usually associated with minimal to no downtime. Makeup can be applied immediately, if desired.

How many treatments will I need?

To achieve maximum improvement with Blue Light therapy, a series of 2 weekly treatments for the first 3 weeks followed by 1 treatment per week for 3 weeks is most effective. Most patients will need periodic touch up treatments ranging from monthly to every 6 months, depending on your acne type and severity.
